-- Dorothy L. Moore, 59, of 3717 N. Atlantic died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday,
Aug. 11, 1992, at Proctor Hospital. Born May 23, 1933, in Creve Coeur
to David and Grace Stevenson, she married Clifford E. Moore on Sept. 22,
1950, in Creve Coeur. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Michael
of Rome, David and Scott, both of Peoria; three daughters, Mrs. Don (Susan)
Pyles of Morton, Mrs. Rick (Terry) Moreland and Mrs. Steve (Barbara) DeJarnett,
both of Peoria; two sisters, Evelyn Bennett and Mrs. Ray (Pat) Hill, both
of Phoenix; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.
She worked at Miracle Mart on Prospect Road for seven years and later
worked in the drapery department at P.A. Bergner's for five years. Services
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilton Mortuary where visitation will be
one hour before the services. The Rev. Stephen J. Chitty will officiate.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be
made to the Arthritis Foundation, Central Illinois Chapter, or the Illinois
Down Syndrome Association.
